The in-line monitoring and quality inspection development for composite parts forming the rear crash beam behind aesthetic bumper for Jeep Renegade has been progressing in the past weeks. Finally, a big covid-restricted milestone was overcome with the organization of the in-situ technical workshop performed between AIMEN and IPC . Both organizations worked on the images data generation for the pultruded composite profiles based on the design of experiments to correlate the images data with the pultrusion process parameters and the beam quality data to detect the presence of defects.
